USA, Rockefeller, influenced League of Nations
After faking its own Geneva convention in 1925, the US began buying into the League of Nations the way trust companies buy controlling interest in stock corporations. US and UK created pressure to ban non-addictive leaf drugs liable to compete with tobacco--and rumored help brown people win boxing championships and resist imperialist invaders. Sino-American collaboration at pressuring the whole world into at-gunpoint prohibitionism had unexpected consequences--China's collapse into communist anarchy, Balkan Wars and WW1. Australians and Canadians were bound by the narcotics-exporting UK to fight Austro-Hungary-Germany and their Ottoman Allies, including Turkey. The US sent Herbert Hoover "over there" as Food Czar & spectator of WW1. Soon U.S. bank loans were endangered when Russians killed their prohibitionist Czar.
